2008 was a crazy year for me. Here's a short list of some major things that happened:
-Had my stomach cut into bits and re-arranged
-Lost 140+ lbs from said re-arrangement
-Gained a big hunk of burnin' love (mah man)
-Was asked to live in sin with Mr. Man
-I will officially burn in hell starting next month (ok, technically that's 2009, but we decided in 2008)
-Had to quickly learn how to have some parental-type traits for his two kids
-Did semi-ok with that regardless of my lack-of-mommy genes
-Found out I have a bum kidney
-Had numerous surgeries for above mentioned stupid kidney
-Spent thousands upon thousands of dollars in medical care for myself because I'm lucky enough to be self-employed and living in one of the richest country in the world that doesn't offer socialized health care
-FINALLY paid my car off and now officially own a 1999 Honda Civic. Oh, the pride.
Overall, 2008 totally rocked, minus my kidney....unless you count the stones as rocks, in which case, there was plenty of rockin'. (If this kidney's rocking, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE come knockin!) My entire life changed in what seemed like the blink of an eye. I'm still mentally and emotionally catching up, but I couldn't be happier with all of the positive changes in my life.
So, I've got some plans for 2009. Not resolutions, but some plans. Hopefully I'll be able to tackle them all, but I'll be happy if I get through the more important ones. Here goes:
-Get plastic surgery. My boobies and tummy look mummified. I'm not joking. You know the old relics of ancient Egyptian people they have in museum displays? That's me, just whiter and not dead yet.
-Get my kidney issues squared away once and for all so that I can live a pain-free existence.
-Get back into the music scene, fo shizzle. I've taken some time off from music with my focus on weight loss and my illness with the kidney. Need to get back in the game, pronto. Working on that now, and will keep you posted....many new gigs coming up!
-Release my new distance-learning/online voice lessons. Crazy? Yep! But who knew there would be such a demand for my mug on a webcam, eh?
-Get my ebay store up and running. It's pretty ridiculous the amount of plus size clothing that I have to sell. Honestly, I should be ashamed at my blatant overspending problem....but being as it will turn me a profit now rather than just sit in my basement, I'll forgive me.
Obviously, Rob's first priority is the plastic surgery as he's looking forward to me getting some new teenage boobies. Heck, I wouldn't mind that either considering I didn't even have teenage boobies when I was a teenager. He's so supportive though, so don't get all in a tizzy about him being superficial. He loves me right now.....Egyptian mummy boobs and all.
I like my list, though. I feel kind of invincible right now. Everything's coming up roses, and I'm totally digging it. Let's see how many I can get through before 2010....
